Cooking Method: Spring
One of my favorite movies is “The English Patient”. In one of the scenes Hana brings to the patient plums from the garden. “It is a very plum plum”, he says.
This one brings me back to my Umbrian vacation. I wanted to make something quick and simple. What came out was a heavenly surprise.
The sweetness of the caramelized peaches and the fennel chunks glazed by their own liquorices, then mixed with the exotic taste of the poussin – it’s a recipe for a passionate revelation.
The sausage crostini was my favorite breakfast when I was in high school. For this version I decided to add asparagus.
I love how simply perfect this dish is. Once you try the aromatic potatoes you will want to keep the recipe in secret. Hush-Hush.
