Mac & Cheese Bulgarian Style

1 lbs penne

1L whole milk

¾ cup sugar

4 eggs

½ cup crumbled feta cheese


1Over low heat simmer the milk with the sugar. Once the sugar is completely dissolved mix in with the whisked eggs.

2Preheat the oven to 400F.

3Transfer the boiled penne in a deep baking pan. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and pour the milk-egg mixture on top. Bake it for 40 minutes.10 minutes before it is done, lightly dust it with sugar and bake it on 450F for 10 minute to caramelize it.
