Macadamia Nut Cookies

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup butter

1 1/3 cups sugar

1 honey

2 large eggs

2 tbsp. milk

1 cup macadamia nuts


1Mix together butter, sugar and honey, whisk in the eggs and add the milk.

2In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3Combine the butter mix with the flour mix. Mix together with crushed macadamia nuts until creamy to make the cookie dough.

4Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put the dough in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

5Preheat the oven to 375F.

6Drop a generous 2 tablespoons of the cookie dough batter on parchment paper lined baking sheet.

7Bake for about ten minutes.

8Makes 24 large cookies
