1Cut the potatoes into irregular big chunks. Place them in a baking dish and mix well with herbs, black pepper, garlic cloves, olive oil and salt. Pour the wine evenly over and bake in an oven for 25 min at 350F until soft inside and golden brown crisp on the outside.
2Add the beer and cook for another 20 minutes or until done.
